Findings from the latest wave of our Research Professionals’ Survey are now available. The study, in its tenth wave, tracks the views of research professionals at a range of industry issues. The study as usual has received good coverage in the industry, including coverage in Research and being widely cited in a paper on research trends at the 2011 Big Conference.

RSM appoints ex-Ugam MD, Simon Glanville
RSM is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon Glanville as Director of Business Development.
Simon will be responsible for client service and business development as RSM focuses on growing its existing UK and international project management and data collection services in online and CATI.
For the past four years Simon has been Managing Director Europe of India based outsourcing company Ugam and was previously General Manager of RONIN; he has more than 20 years experience of International B2B, Consumer and Healthcare data collection.

RSM commissioned by Google to conduct several major international studies
RSM has recently completed several major international studies for Google. They include research with business customers in Russia, Israel, Poland, Turkey, China, Australia and New Zealand using mixed quant/qual techniques, and a study of business customers in Europe, North America and Australia.
RSM delighted to add Facebook to its client list
We are pleased to announce that Facebook has commissioned RSM to conduct research amongst its advertisers in the USA.
RSM commissioned to conduct major global studies for TNS and Ipsos
RSM has been commissioned to conduct two major tracking studies on behalf of TNS, measuring business and trade confidence in a number of international markets. Both studies research business audiences using our international CATI facility at London Bridge; the studies include UK, France, Germany, North America and Poland. RSM also recently conducted a major global CATI study for IPSOS Mori, monitoring the deployment of ICT applications in hospitals across 15 European countries.
RSM appointed to Westminster Council's research roster
RSM has been selected as one of six preferred suppliers appointed to Westminster Council's market research roster. Westminster selected RSM on the basis of its multi-method resources (including urban interviewing), track record with London Boroughs, and ability to deliver high quality research at competitive rates. To date, we have undertaken a number of large scale CATI studies on the council’s behalf.
RSM secures position with Ofcom’s framework agreement for market research services
Ofcom, the independent regulator and competition authority for the UK communications industries, has appointed RSM to its Market Research Services Roster of agencies. RSM has been chosen to provide B2B and Stakeholder surveys and its inclusion on the new roster represents further development of RSM’s research activities in the government sector. We recently completed a major international web based study on Ofcom’s behalf.
RSM undertaking web development research for RS Components
RSM has been awarded a contract to evaluate and help develop RS Components’ technical resource website for Design Engineers. The qualitative and quantitative programme uses a mixed method approach – including web usability testing, focus groups, and a quantitative web based survey - to help identify a development plan to further improve user benefits.
